A Little More Light from the Stars Warren Sunkar

There, under the soft luminescence of the Milky Way,
I wondered what the coming days would bring.
With this thought, I saw two stars detach from the night
just above the darkened skyline. Shining magnifi cently,
these two silent UFOs shot forward from the distance
speeding directly towards me. I stood up out of my chair
as they stopped very close, just above the veranda and I
then watched them make a sudden shift of direction as they
hurled themselves upwards into the sky.
