Following in the same vein as 'Songs in the Night', and in the same quiet but profound voice, Ana Lisa speaks strengthening words of encouragement, solace and peace to her readers. Her themes of faith in a flawed world, light shining in the darkness, and joy constantly renewed, does not fail to uplift the reader and provide fresh hope and inspiration. The theme for this book is 'faith, hope and love' and in her introduction Ana Lisa says of these essential characteristics of the human spirit, 'faith, hope and love, these three things remain... but for faith, hope and love, what do we have, and what do we keep? But, in the end they are everything and all we ever need'. Each hopeful and hope-filled poem in this book is a question which answers itself, ringing with truth and assurances of provision. Ana Lisa, through her honest and wise writing points out the God placed strength, courage, and ability in all of us to discern the truth and answer our own questions. Her words are a gift that keeps on giving in that each time they are read, the reader reveals another layer of insight, previously not perceived. Similarly to 'Songs in the Night', this book 'Hope Springs' is a treasure, and a truly inspiring read.
