It's Just Me - Stories of a Life in a Changing World
Konrad Brinck
Konrad Brinck has turned into a gifted storyteller with this fascinating book, spinning delightful vignettes of his childhood in Germany, larger-than-life stories about his relatives, his arrival in Toronto, his work, his friends, his love life and his shortcomings. The book is also replete with astute opinions on many subjects as its broad sweep takes in the cultural ethos of urban Canada. 'It's Just Me' is a conversational-style book that will regale its readers. As Brinck says: "There is no such thing as a humdrum existence. There are exciting elements of drama and scores of rewarding tales in every person's life."
