It allows for the idea of progress in the sense that, even if there is to be none, it is nevertheless allowed for. Space is made for it, time is allocated to it. There is no visionary experience, for anyone, of anyone, in this work, it is all strictly material--material in the sense that it is a temporary and transient arrangement.
