The workbook for fourth graders is a grammar-based learning program that covers nouns and verbs with the same bases, adjectives, adverbs, nouns, articles, pronouns, prepositions, connectives, simple and compound sentences, interjections, numbers, punctuation, capitalization and writing a personal letter. There are writing exercises, grammar rules, spelling rules and tests. The teacher or mentor quickly understands how to guide the children in the fourth grade into raising their consciousness of their language by creating their own examples within the grammar.
