It looks at the actual realities and why there is so much passion tied to what should be a hard-nosed, scientific question to be researched. It has instead become a cause celeb for politicians and the media who have certainly at least muddied the waters with wild claims, exaggerations, and accusations that have taken it out of the realm of science and placed it firmly in the domain of politics where all rationality has evaporated and it has become a tool used to gain money and power and to bludgeon opponents. A collection of other real menaces with infinitely more danger to humanity is also discussed and considered.
