In 1982, in the small town of Simonsville, three children vanish and are never seen again. Many years later in the same town, newcomers Chelzy Stone, her brother, Matthew, and their friend, Tory, hear the haunting and conflicting stories of the missing children. Determined to unlock the mystery of their disappearance, Chelzy, Matthew and Tory, also known as The Trio, set out to solve the case. However, when they start playing a mysterious board game, they soon discover there was more to the children?s disappearance than they could ever imagine. The Trio soon find themselves in an enchanted world with dangerous and trap-filled lands scattered throughout. As they encounter both benevolent and wicked creatures along the way, they realize that it will take more than magic to return home . . . or even survive the journey and succeed in their quest.
