Christian Cell Phone God's Anointing We see in the Old Testament that God command his prophets, His messenger, and those who serve him consistently to anoint someone for the work that he have for them to do for him. The purpose of Saul's anointing was to dedicate him to God for the special task to which he was called and to impart to him enabling grace and gifts for his God appointed task. God also, revealed to Samuel: "About this time tomorrow I will send you to a man from the land of Benjamin. Anoint him leader over my people Israel; he will deliver my people from the hand of the Philistines." 1st Samuel 9:15-16
