Abi is dying of cancer. Ten years ago, she and her infant son, Morgan, fled her abusive husband, Vince, by escaping Texas and settling in New Zealand. Now, Abi is faced with deciding what to do with her son. When Delthea gains information that could lead to Abi's whereabouts, she keeps this information to herself, paralyzed with the prospect of reuniting her husband with his lost lover and the child he does not know exists.
