This book is a hands-on legal guide for adult survivors of sexual abuse who want to sue their perpetrator(s) for money damages or try to get them criminally prosecuted. It is a handbook for maneuvering through our legal system. It will answer many of the questions survivors have asked. The author is attorney, Shari Karney, Esq., a survivor herself of sexual abuse and advocate for abuse survivor's rights. Shari changed the law in California to enable survivors to sue past the statute of limitations. After the law changed in California, Shari worked and helped seed change in 40 other states.
