This book originated with the desire of a father?s heart to encourage his children to mature in their fellowship with God. When his children grew up and moved away to begin life on their own, this father thought, as a parent sometimes does, ?Did I teach my children everything I possibly could to help them live a steadfast Christian life?? Using notes from his prayer journal as a guide, the author wrote devotional essays, illustrated by his own experiences in following God, and sent them to his children and their families?words of encouragement, as well as teachings about faith, spiritual maturity, and prayer. This book is an endeavor to show that God desires to be in daily fellowship with each of us.
