During their trip, the three young osguards are almost murdered in an attack by anti-USSTAP forces, backed by Scolonian technology. The incident forces the eighty year-old Michael out of retirement and back to the front lines. He must create and execute a plan that will save his grandchildren, eradicate the threat to Earth and salvage what is left of USSTAP?s relationship with the planet?s population. But there?s a hitch; the Scolonian Force Field surrounding Earth prevents Michael from directly intervening. Therefore, Deuce, Nayla and Chey must accomplish Michael?s plan to project resolute diplomacy, military might and unwavering justice, without killing a single Earthling.
