Loren Rhoton is a practicing postconviction attorney who has dedicated his career to helping Florida inmates seek justice. In addition to providing postconviction representation to individuals, Mr. Rhoton also volunteered his time and advice to the Florida Prison Legal Aid Organization (FPLAO). Mr. Rhoton sat on the Board of Directors of FPLAO and wrote a legal self-help column, Postconviction Corner, for FPLAO's publication, the Florida Prison Legal Perspectives. When FPLAO dissolved, Mr. Rhoton continued to offer his legal self-help articles in his own newsletter, the Florida Postconviction Journal. This book is a compilation of Mr. Rhoton's articles from FPLP and the Florida Postconviction Journal.
