Wrestling with the Devil is an inspirational memoir.  It follows a southern Italian boy who is severed from his family, and placed on an ocean liner in the bay of Naples.  At just ten-years-old this young boy truly embarks on the journey of his life. He steps onto New York soil without a word of English, and his oversized jacket pockets stuffed with salami and provolone cheese.  He recalls the promise from his mother that in America he would find family members to take care of him and the trees blossoming with gold. Sadly, this couldn't be further from the truth, and young Antonio is hit with a cruel dose of reality.  There would be obstacles at every turn for this young Italian boy in America, and they become the demons with which Antonio finds himself doing constant battle.  As his story unfolds, it takes an inspirational turn, and you will find yourself cheering on this young man as he comes of age and builds a new life in America.
