Port Royal
Richard H. Triebe
In the 17th century Port Royal, Jamaica, was known as "The Wickedest City On Earth". Over 300 pirate crews called Port Royal home and one out of every four buildings was either a tavern or a brothel. The island was used as a fortress from which to attack the Spanish fleets. On June 7, 1692, a catastrophic earthquake caused the city to sink into the sea, killing more than three-quarters of its population. When present day underwater archeologist Mike Ryan recovers a gold pocket watch from the sunken city of Port Royal, people begin dying. A demonic spirit that was trapped inside the watch since 1692 has escaped and must be stopped. Time is critical as Ryan races to unravel the mystery surrounding the watch before anyone else is murdered.
