God Recycles Broken Dreams: an Intimate Look at My Down-to-earth Heavenly Father's Care Ruth Shank Shira

Does your life seem like a never-ending parade of problems? Have you ever wondered, "What's there to live for?" Have you ever felt like, "No one even cares about me"? Have you found yourself crying out, "Where are you, God?" Or do you ever wonder why there are so many empty pews when Christians claim to have the answer? Author Ruth Shira found herself asking these questions and realized that her hurting soul searched for a down-to-earth God! Read her story and discover for yourself the One who wants to walk with you on your journey. "What a sweet story of faith in the life of a real woman, living a real life. I couldn't put it down." Ruth Graham, Author, In Every Pew Sits a Broken Heart "Refusing, with her child-like faith, to allow her life to be defined by broken dreams, the author, Ruth Shira, found a loving God who more than made it up to her. By extending this God-given, resilient strength to many young and struggling native missionaries around the world, she gave rise to hundreds of sons and daughters among the nations, all who lovingly call her 'Mom Ruth.' How do I know this? I am one of them." Bo Barredo, President and CEO of Advancing Native Missions "This is more than one woman's story. Rather, it is the journey of a person, who-from my experience-has a clear channel to God. Therefore, it is the Lord's story of His leading Ruth through valleys and deserts to mountain tops of resurrection joy." Pastor Harold DeRoo, Founding Pastor of Rolling Hills Community Church (Sister Church of Dr. Robert H. Schuller Garden Grove, California)
