"The Adventures Of Jacque And Wanderwan" by Timothy Allen Wagoner is the tale of Jacque, a young boy born and raised in the small, coastal town of Queen's Port, Rhode Island. While out sailing with his father one Saturday morning, a sudden, savage storm changes Jacque's life forever. He makes his way back to land and finds shelter from the storm, but from there, through an extraordinary discovery, Jacque is transported into a world beyond imagination.

Jacque enters Naoo, the place from which the most powerful force in existence, time, originates. He soon learns that if he ever hopes to find his way back home he must travel the entire length of Naoo, on The One Road, to the farthest border of the Westlands. With Wanderwan, his ever-optimistic and magical guide, Jacque begins a journey that will eventually bring him face to face with his own destiny. Along the way, as they pass through this outrageous world, they encounter its incredible inhabitants, evlots, grools, horsehounds and more, until, eventually, they are forced to confront the evil that grips all of Naoo.

Told with quiet charm, this tale of endless fantasy and adventure will amuse and entertain as it finds its way into the reader's heart, where it will ultimately leave its mark, a gentle lesson about the importance of believing in one's self. "Book I: Naoo," the first book of this series, sets the grand stage for the telling of this wonderful story. Come and join Jacque for a walk through the woods...
