The Veil
Andrew Mossin
Poetry. In THE VEIL, Andrew Mossin works with language from multiple spheres--private and political--to achieve the melopoeia that drives poetry into clarity. Given the political context that gave rise to these poems--manipulated facts to justify war and torture--there is an urgency to Mossin's reflective gathering of external and internal forces. THE VEIL is not about shrouding; it is about being 'alive to the work of it'--the work of mourning, outrage, sadness, and hope--Kristin Prevallet.
