Study on the transition from the Mesolithic to Neolithic in southwest France. Characterising the technology and typology of lithic industry, using a corpus from 22 sites, Marchand's aim is to understand the methods of industry. He shows the existence of a real break between the cultural spheres of Mesolithic and Neolithic for the lithic industry, although the development differs per region.
