Jacket Description/Flap: The Aldens investigate when a stolen camera threatens to ruin a photo contest at the zoo. Brief Description: While spending two days touring a zoo to see the baby animals, the four Alden children, aged six to fourteen, help catch an escaped monkey, participate in a photography contest, and investigate a missing camera. Publisher Marketing: It's spring and all the baby animals are being born; a perfect time to visit the zoo. The Aldens join a group of kids as they all take pictures throughout the zoo, each hoping to win $500 in a photo contest. When one of the cameras is missing, the Aldens take on the mystery and save the day.

Contributor Bio:  Warner, Gertrude Chandler Gertrude Chandler Warner was born in 1890 in Putnam, Connecticut, where she taught school and wrote The Boxcar Children because she had often imagined how delightful it would be to live in a caboose or freight car. Encouraged by its success, she went on to write eighteen more stories about the Alden Children. Contributor Bio:  Papp, Robert Robert Papp has won awards nationwide, but he is most proud of the reaction his paintings receive from children. He lives in Pennsylvania with his artist wife, Lisa, and their cat, Taffy.
