Society's Breakthrough!: Releasing Essential Wisdom and Virtue in All the People Jim Rough

Good News! Important news! There is a Breakthrough answer to today's crucial issues ? the threat of terrorism, racism, the lop-sided distribution of wealth, the corporate takeover of democracy, the non-involvement of citizens in government, materialism, alienation and spiritual decay. Sound too good to believe? By the end of this book, you will wonder why this simple adjustment to the underpinnings of our society wasn?t made long ago. Society?s Breakthrough proposes a seemingly innocuous change to our system that would facilitate deep change in us ? awakening our awareness, creativity, wisdom, and virtue. It would establish a way for us to form a wise and responsible 'We the People' and help us create 'true democracy' as a nation. This book is a fun and exciting read, not just because of the workable idea it describes, but because it is original in so many ways. It uses stories, anecdotes, experiments and reflections to illustrate different ways of thinking, different models of change, and how global transformation can really happen. More good news! The proposed idea is already being tested in large organizations ? cities, schools, government agencies, corporations, and professional associations ? and it works. You cannot afford to miss out on Society?s Breakthrough!
