Dominique Vincenz is a devoted student and yoga teacher. Her own healing journey through yoga ignited her passion to bring that possibility to others. Her work has led her to teach in addiction centers and hospitals, offering yoga as part of an holistic treatment for trauma and addiction. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia. This is the first time her immensely private works have been published. They are at times wrenching, sobering, funny, and always compelling. Among other themes, Dominique's poetry is a full-frontal attack on the notion that physical beauty and technical mastery in any endeavor is the ticket to acceptance and love. Her search for truth, meaning and authenticity is the thematic anchor for her poetry and how she strives to live her life.
