Contributor Bio:  Lo, Teresa Writer and cartoonist Teresa Lo was inspired to create a children's book that promoted physical activity for children after working with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's Healthy Habits program, a community outreach organization that focused on obesity prevention. After writing plays that promoted healthy eating and creating a coloring book about calcium for the program, she decided to release her own children's book, "Exercise with Cats!" Teresa has a M. F. A. in Screenwriting from the University of Southern California and a B. A. in History from the University of Kansas. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her cat, Paige Turner.
