Bar Whores is a collection of eight short stories that take place from the early 60?s through the present. Ken Kielty sets his stories in places ranging from the Catskill Mountains to a nudist resort in the Florida Everglades. His edgy style and feelings for his characters come through on every page. Three of these stories, The Mediterranean, Doc?s Bar and The Butt Crack Bar are being developed into a three short film anthology. Other works by Ken include a novel, Visiting Brooklyn and a horror-comedy screenplay, One of Me. Kielty lives in St. Charles, Missouri with his wife, Cindy, and two dogs, Bubbles and Flakey.
