Many of us do not know what to say or do to help someone who is facing a loss. We give gifts of food to nourish the body, flowers to raise the spirits and words of comfort to ease the heart. Sorrow's Song fills the void the survivor has in dealing with the overwhelming emotions that follow losing a loved one. Sorrow's Song is a grief recovery journal that provides guided questions to ease the survivor through the grief process, allowing them a positive outlet for all the emotions associated with a loss. The grief journal can be given as a gift, used as a therapeutic tool or self help guide. The workbook provides the user with journal pages to record their thoughts and emotions as well as guided writing exercises that can be shared with a counselor or minister. Survivors are invited to write at their own pace completing one page per day to three pages per day providing more than three months of support. Sorrow's Song is easy to use and is appropriate for users age 12 to adult.
