The Adventure begins in the year 1750 in England with the birth of Ethan Lloyd. Sir Charles Lloyd, the Duke of Devonshire, has two unique daggers specially made to be given to the King as a gift. During his visit to Windsor Castle, his son Ethan is kidnapped by a scheming profiteer. After the Kings death, the daggers are returned to the Lloyd family estate known as Dartmouth Castle. The kidnapped boy, now in America, enlists in the Continental Army to fight against the British in the Revolutionary WarHis younger brother Tyler finds out through sources close to his family that his brother is alive and well living in the Colonies. Feeling his brother is a threat to his familys fortune, Tyler locates his brother and murders him using one the daggers that symbolized his families loyalty to the throne of EnglandIn Chicago 1999, Ethan Daniels, a relative of Ethan Lloyd has been plagued by nightmares about the murder. He doesnt realize that the Ghost of Dartmouth Castle has been causing these dreams in his family for centuries. With his ghostly friends help, Ethan travels to England to try and claim the title that is rightfully his.
