We've asked for seats at the table, for them to see us, and have promised what we'd do when we get home, but we have been present for ages. We are Already Here is a poetry collection that follows the paths of two very different young women - though they were born of the same parents, grew up in the same home, and come from the same edge of the world, they experience two different journeys. We are Already Here explores these women's lives through five lenses - Millennialism, Blackness, education, world experiences, and finally, womanhood.
