While preparing for the Christmas season, a young boy becomes discouraged by all the bad news stories and negative events happening around the world. With the help of his parents and a surprise visitor on Christmas Eve, he learns just what a powerful force love truly can be. He learns how one small act of kindness causes a ripple effect that can create change for the better. Negative forces can be overwhelming, but little Nicholas learns that although one person can't do everything, everyone can do something.
