1000 STEPS, An ESL Teaching Adventure in Taiwan Claudia Carroll

My title is taken from the literally thousands of steps I climbed during my year teaching ESL in Taiwan, but it also indicates the steps I took, to get there, to live and teach there, and to, step by step, share a little of myself with others, as they shared themselves with me. Being a part of the process of education, whether with children or adults, in a country not your own, allows us, as teachers, to make a contribution to our "small, small, global world."
