The title, Swimming From the OceanÕs Floor, is symbolic. The oceanÕs floor is the bottom of the bottom. It is the darkest place to be. By swimming from the floor of the ocean, you will encounter tides and currents which may be described as your own emotions and experiences. As you get closer to the top the ocean, the color of the water gets lighter and lighter as does the fight to survive. The swim from the floor of the ocean may represent struggles with mental controversy, physical challenges, and lifeÕs confrontations with relationships, friendships, health, and finances.
