During the turbulent 1960s, hey acted as unofficial conciliators in several tense situations. This comprehensive study of Quaker peace-making activities focuses primarily on the variety and effectiveness of their efforts in Berlin from 1960 to 1073, in India / Pakistan in 1965, and in Nigeria from 1967 to 1970.
