Poems by the prominent Romanian poet Ion Deaconescu for the first time appear in English translation. Deaconescu won multiple international poetry awards, and collections of his poems have been published not only in Romania but also in translation to other languages, including Italian, Hungarian, Turkish, Macedonian and Serbian.
