Meet Ferris Foster - the cartooning genius (if he does say so himself) behind the AUSTOUNDOG comic (available exclusively in Ferris' school playground) and owner of the actual Aldo, quite possibly the world's most average dog . . .
When Ferris' totally annoying neighbour Destiny boasts about her popular YouTube channel, featuring her perfect pooch, Princess Foo Foo, Ferris foolishly claims that Aldo can easily become a BIGGER internet star. The gauntlet thrown, there are just three problems: Aldo has about as much talent as a teaspoonFerris doesn't have a phone to film withHis mums expect him to waste valuable dog-training time making friends with Chelsea, a new foster child joining their familyBut then Chelsea accidentally captures Aldo doing what looks like an amazing trick and suddenly it seems that Ferris' seemingly-impossible task might come true! Especially when a HUGE YouTube star wants to feature Aldo on her channel to recreate the trick. Will Aldo finally live up to name of his comic book alter-ego and wow the world with his skills or is this about to be the biggest EPIC FAIL ever?A laugh-out-loud, caper of an adventure with family and friendship at its heart from Jen Carney, the author and illustrator of the B. U. G series.
Perfect for fans of Danny Wallace, Liz Pichon and Katie Kirby.
