Garry Fleming
The Galah (Eolophus roseicapilla), is also known as the pink and
grey cockatoo. It is one of Australia's most common and widespread cockatoos. Its distinctive pink and grey plumage and its bold and loud behavior make it a familiar sight throughout Australia.
This painting was inspired after Garry spent some time holidaying on the South Coast of NSW, where these birds are quite common.
It was painted using water colour and gouache on 100% rag board.
