Nikki Travis' on the run from her abusive husband and the townspeople of Paradise who believe she killed one of their own, searches desperately for a place to grow and lose her timidity but discovers more misadventure when she falls into the wrong crowd at a strip club where she has decided to become a dancer. She befriends the strippers and the owner of the club and only to learn that they are killers themselves and she is in danger as she kills again to protect herself. Setting out to flee Hell's End she learns that the money she stole from her husband brings her no good luck or protection. The killer from Paradise, Misty Evans, sets out to find her along with a detective who is not whom he seems to be. Nikki stands up for herself but doesn't get to run too far as the detective, the killer from Paradise and the strip club workers who turn on her force her yet again to kill or be killed. After the detective is killed, we wonder who's next. In the end, she doesn't escape the Misty's wrath, or does she?
