The year is AD 342, and Christmas (at least as we know it) has not yet been invented. That all changes when what looks like a shooting star appears above ancient Turkey. Turns out it isn't a star at all but a crashing spaceship!

The spaceship is filled with aliens from a distant planet who fled through a wormhole to escape the monstrous creatures who have taken over their home planet. These gentle aliens are now lost in a strange world.

After the kindhearted Saint Nicholas rescues them from their crash site, they set off on an adventure that will take them from central Asia to the heart of modern Christmas. When Santa meets science, miracles begin happening around the world.
