Somber Observations Rob Issacs

These thoughts have been drifting around in me for decades. They are informed by my teaching in Philosophy and Sociology and what I know of literature. Being single made a big difference. They are in stark contrast to the sugary stuff in most quotation or aphorism collections. They hark back to Cioran. My political orientation is decidedly left except for my views on immigration. Topics include politics, science, society, life, philosophy, psychology and contemporary issues. Please excuse the occasional use of repetition for emphasis.
