Danny Brooks was on stage at Threadgills in Austin, Texas, when he sensed that something was very wrong. His arms felt like lead. Thinking was difficult, and his chest hurt. He was having a heart attack.



Brooks should have gone to the hospital, but he was a long way from his home in Ontario and had no health insurance. He chose instead to pray to God for relief and continued with the tour.
