History is more than a collection of disparate facts, people, events, wars, treaties, laws, and dates. It is a flowing river with many tributaries and streams where all mankind's stories come together. I invite my readers to use this book as a context, and then read and explore and discover on their own the zillions of details of the parts of history that interest them. This book is called Prism because there are so many facets of the human experience. I have tried to shine the light of understanding on many faces of this prism, but other facets lay in shadow, waiting to be illuminated by others, maybe you. Prism explores the human experience on all seven continents over a span of 5,000 years.
