When Thalo Wilks discovers her husband has imported an underage Korean prostitute, she runs off to Tahiti to gain time and distance to consider her marriage. There she meets Michael. A woman is murdered, a smarmy stranger persistently spies on her every move, and someone tries to kill her. Frightened, she accepts Michael's offer to take her aboard his yacht to Pago Pago, as an untraceable escape. After a hazardous journey that they barely survive, they land in Hawaii.
