Sand
Eric Marley
Sand is an exploration of the purpose of life, within a dream that a man has after a difficult day. In the dream, he sees himself as a wanderer who knows only suffering. Dying of thirst, he eventually has a paradigm-shifting conversation with a divine Being. This Being teaches The Wanderer about the nature of time and sacred difficulty. He speaks of the Earth as a sentient being, whose very language speaks of the Love of the Creator. Most importantly, the Being introduces to the Wanderer a "felt sense" of the enormity of Life and illustrates through a series of visions his - and our - place in the grand play.
